Are you still looking at the stars, 2018 - Dyptich

Today, in some sanctuaries that are still preserved, it is possible to contemplate the sky in conditions similar to those of the past. But for many of us, the sky is gradually fading due to light pollution. The artificial light becomes a permanent screen that cuts human beings from their cosmic roots.

To underline this observation, I photographed the night sky in clear weather and on new moon days in two different places on the Earth: under the sky of Paris and in the dark-sky preserve for astronomical observations, in Mont-Mégantic, Quebec.

Both images are views of the Big Dipper constellation, presented in the form of a diptych.
